how to disable image zoom with white borders

hi – under a portfolio project, if I click on an image, two overlapping images (instead of just one) are displayed :

1 – an image with a white border and an X in a circle in the right top corner
2 – under the white bordered image, the zoomed image served by the lightgallery plugin

How do I turn off the white bordered zoomed image in 1 above ?
